Invest in a Sustainable Future

Restore Biodiversity with FaunaPhotonics

At FaunaPhotonics, we are driven by a profound mission; to empower organisations worldwide in regenerating and restoring biodiversity on a global scale. Our vision encompasses a future where cutting-edge technology becomes the catalyst for positive change, allowing companies to make informed decisions that contribute to the health of our planet’s ecosystems.

Our Vision

We want to create a new standard

Our vision is for the FaunaPhotonics biodiversity portfolio to become one of the standard methodologies for measuring biodiversity. We want to play a part in helping organisations across the globe to play a part in reversing the global biodiversity crisis.

Our Mission

Championing biodiversity analysis and documentation

In a world where biodiversity loss poses an urgent challenge, it is important to recognize the critical role of insects as the foundation of our ecosystems. Their well-being directly impacts the health of our planet. With a startling 75% decline in insect biomass over the past three decades, it is imperative to halt this alarming trend. We must evaluate our actions’ effects on biodiversity and take proactive measures. To achieve this, continuous monitoring is essential.

At FaunaPhotonics, we stand at the forefront of this crucial assignment, harnessing cutting-edge technology. Our mission is to equip organisations with the necessary tools to assess the impact of their endeavours on biodiversity. Understanding these effects is paramount, and our innovative technology provides an avenue for studious documentation and reporting of contributions to biodiversity restoration. Through transparent and comprehensive reporting, we furnish evidence-based data and insights, meticulously analysed by our AI and Machine Learning software. It is our mission to empower organisations to adhere to regulatory requirements for reporting and documenting biodiversity.

By harnessing the power of data and insights, FaunaPhotonics paves the way for a harmonious equilibrium between economic prosperity and ecological well-being.

Join us and be a part of restoring and saving the biodiversity of our planet!

Rapidly increasing recognition of the need for monitoring biodiversity

Emerging standards make monitoring a recuirement

The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is fundamentally changing companies’ ESG reporting. Starting from 2024 and beyond, companies will be required to incorporate a significantly broader range of ESG data than was previously necessary. A central objective of the CSRD is to elevate ESG reporting to a more data-driven realm, lending it greater significance in companies’ annual reports. It is assessed that there is a need for greater transparency, and therefore companies must, as something new, collect, process and report data on biodiversity conditions throughout the entire value chain’s upstream and downstream activities. Furthermore, they are obligated to detail their strategies for mitigating biodiversity loss.

In order to align with these data-centric reporting mandates, companies must institute protocols for the systematic collection of ESG data, assessment of ESG performance, and seamless compliance with the ESRS in a judicious, efficient, and valid manner. FaunaPhotonics can assist companies in meeting these exact requirements. Our continuous collection and analysis of data furnish a robust and valid foundation for companies’ ESG reporting.

By 2025, the inaugural annual reports conforming to the novel ESRS standards will make their debut. Thus, companies subjected to the new ESRS standards from January 1, 2024, must promptly initiate preparations to collect and safeguard valid ESG data. This evolving scenario presents lucrative opportunities for FaunaPhotonics, in emerging markets that grow as an increasing number of companies fall under these new requirements, culminating in 2030.

Who are we providing with biodiversity insights?

We supply different organisations with data and insights. Our partners come from various sectors and industries, being small companies and larger corporations spread over the globe. We are proud and grateful to take part in all of these biodiversity projects.
